How limits work

What the limits mean

Running instances The maximum number of hosted application instances that can be running at the same time.

Per-instance resources RAM, CPU and process limits apply independently to each running hosted application.

Build timeout The maximum amount of time a deployment build may run before Cloudexa stops it.

Database limit The maximum number of Cloudexa-managed databases that can exist on your account.

Premium expiration Premium is considered active only while your account has an active Premium plan with a future expiration date.

Core features Normal keeps access to repositories, deployments, databases, logs, environment variables and custom domains.

Common questions

Do I need Premium to host an application?

No. Normal includes application hosting. Premium increases the number of instances and the resources available to each instance.

Are private repositories Premium-only?

No. Public and private repositories are available on both plans.

Can I use PostgreSQL or MySQL on Normal?

Yes. Both database engines are available on Normal and Premium. The account database limit changes from 1 to 5 with Premium.

What happens when Premium expires?

Your account is treated as Normal once Premium is no longer active. Cloudexa's normal resource limits then apply.

Does Premium change how deployments work?

No. The deployment workflow stays the same. Premium mainly raises infrastructure limits such as running instances, RAM, CPU, process count, build time and database count.

Start on Normal. Upgrade when you need the extra capacity.

You can keep the same repositories and workflow while moving to higher resource limits.
